Robin Simcox is a Research Fellow at the Henry Jackson Society, where he studies al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda inspired terrorism. Simcox has testified in front of the House of Representative Homeland Security Committee, and briefed the White House, National Counterterrorism Center, British Parliament, U.S. Special Operations Command and the European Parliament. He has written terrorism analysis for the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Washington Times, The Atlantic, World Affairs, National Interest and The New Republic, among others. He also regularly appears on the media for the likes of the BBC, CNN, Sky News, Fox News and al-Jazeera.
Simcox has an MSc in U.S. Foreign Policy from the Institute for the Study of Americas, University of London, and a BA in History (International) from the University of Leeds, which included a year at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
